Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
Changeling by Philippa Gregory (kind of more historical than fantasy, but still…)
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder
Kill Me Softly by Sarah Cross

  2. Have I read good fantasy this year? Ummm, YES! First that popped into my head was Shadow and Bone because I just read another review of it, so I'll say that, but I've read a bunch.

  3. Good fantasy, um. I really, really enjoyed Collins' Gregor the Overlander and the first book by Terry Goodkind and the Bone series. Those were probably my favorite high fantasy. Then I've also been enjoying Ranger's Apprentice and really liked the False Prince by Jennifer Nielsen but they're a lot like what I write!

My favorite at the moment? The False Prince probably since I just read it, but Gregor rates very highly :D
