Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine that allows bloggers to share which books we are most anticipating.
This week, I am waiting on Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas (8/27/13):
Description on Goodreads:
After a year of hard
labor in the Salt Mines of Endovier, eighteen-year-old assassin Celaena
Sardothien has won the king's contest to become the new royal assassin. Yet
Celaena is far from loyal to the crown – a secret she hides from even her most
intimate confidantes.
Keeping up the deadly charade—while pretending to do the king's bidding—will test her in frightening new ways, especially when she's given a task that could jeopardize everything she's come to care for. And there are far more dangerous forces gathering on the horizon -- forces that threaten to destroy her entire world, and will surely force Celaena to make a choice.
Where do the assassin’s loyalties lie, and who is she most willing to fight for?

So, I ate up book 1 in this series. I’ve been waiting on
this sequel for what seems like forever! It sounds interesting. Not a lot is
given away in the description, but I kind of like not knowing too much. The
covers for these books have not been my favorite, but they’re not awful. I
remember just being completely sucked into the story of the first book and I
can’t wait for this to happen again.
What are you waiting on this week?
I love the cover of this.

This one has been popular. I haven't read Throne of Glass, but am totally picking up a copy since it's obviously kick-ass.

Yeah!! I had so much fun with the first book, as well! I can't wait to see where she takes the story next. I also feel a bit conflicted about the covers...
