A Good Week in Books (10)

So, I’ve been having a lot of good weeks in books lately! I bought three books, one of which I got signed! I got two new ones from Net Galley. And I got one ARC sent to me from an awesome author who wants me to review it on Nori’s Closet!!!
I bought these gorgeous books:

Rapture
by Lauren Kate (signed)
For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund
The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead (I already read/reviewed the ARC, but I had to get a finished copy for my collection!)
I got these guys on Net Galley. Thank you Angry Robot and CreateSpace.

The Assassin’s Curse by Cassandra Rose Clarke (comes out 10/2/12)
Painted Blind by Micelle A. Hansen (published already)
And I got this ARC along with a nice letter in the mail the other day. Thank you, Ned Vizzini! And thank you, Eti for liking my blog so much!

The Other Normals
by Ned Vizzini (signed / comes out October 2012)
How was your week in books?

  1. Oooh, look at all of your books! I really love the covers for Rapture and For Darkness Shows the Stars. Also, yay for your ARC! So cool :)

I had a pretty great week in books, too. I went to Goodwill and got a ton of stuff, and Christina also loaned me about five books!

    1. What did she loan you? And what did you get? Any awesome YA titles? I'm so jealous that you guys seem to have Goodwill's that have really good books in them!

    2. If Heather did a book haul post she could call it: Things I Got from Christina. Haha. Or not.

      I loaned her:
      Gilt - Katherine Longshore
      The Borrower - Rebecca Makkai
      Never Enough - Denise Jaden

That's what I remember for sure anyway.

    3. Heather should do a book haul/in my mailbox/something for sure! I have an ARC for Gilt, but still haven't read it. I will soon! It sounds so good.

    4. Yeah, our goodwill is excellent! I've always had good luck with book thrifting, though, as the place by my parents' house always seemed to have titles I had my eye on. I think I will make a post because there are way too many to remember from my most recent trip (because I bought SRP prizes, along with some beauties for myself. Oh yeah, and I just placed an order with BookCloseouts. haha!) In addition to those that Christina named, I also have her copy of Croak...and I feel like there's one more that I'm missing (which is in addition to The Selection, Fever, and A Discovery of Witches, all of which I've had for a while. We have a problem. haha)
