Fairy Tale Giveaway Hop

I haven’t done one of these hops in a very long time. How could I miss out on a fairy tale one though? Thank you: I Am A Reader, Not AWriter, The Book Rat, and A Backwards Story for hosting such a fantastic giveaway hop!
To see the rest of the blogs participating in the hope (aka: for more chances to win free books), scroll down to the bottom of the post.
I absolutely love fairy tales! And because I love fairy tales so much I am giving away two of the books listed below!
My standard rules: The winner will get an email from me as soon as one is randomly selected on Raffle Copter. My giveaway is open both to US and international followers (as long as either Barnes and Noble or The Book Depository can deliver to you). You will have 48 hours to respond to my winning notification email, and if I don’t hear from you by then, I will have to randomly select a different winner.
What’s up for grabs: your choice of any two of these fairytale books below:

Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Scarlet by Marissa Meyer
A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan
Wildwood Dancing by Juliet Marillier
Entwined by Heather Dixon
Beastly by Alex Flinn
Cloaked by Alex Flinn
Enchanted by Alethea Kontis
Wisdom’s Kiss by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
East by Edit Pattou
The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer
Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson

Thanks for stopping by! And, good luck!

  5. My favorite YA fairytale is probably Beastly, but I have a feeling I'd love Cinder. I also really like The Book of Lost Things. It's not exactly a fairytale, per se, but it has lots of reworked fairytales in the book :)

  30. I love fairy tales. I actually wrote a paper for my Literary Non-Fiction class about the resurgence of fairy tales in popular culture. This was last year when the two movies based on "Snow White" came out along with the tv show "Once Upon a Time…" and then "Cinder" came out. It was quite an explosion of fairy tales in mediums. I concluded that because of the rough economic times, people were grasping for something to escape to. In fairy tales, the impossible happens. The disenfranchised become the heroes and heroines. They rise to power and usually become a King or Queen. We are still clinging to the American dream and through the use of fairy tales we get to live that dream. As far as my favorite fairy tale goes, I love "Beauty and the Beast." I love it so much that I have thought seriously about naming my first daughter Belle. In books, I love retellings of fairy tales like "Cinder" and "Ella Enchanted." In TV, the show "Beauty and the Beast" on the CW is one of my favorites and in movies, I loved "Mirror, Mirror," "Beastly" and "The Wizard of Oz." Also, a big fan of the musical "Wicked."
    Thanks for the giveaway!
